HANNAH ALLPORT

I am currently working on my A2 level in design technology where I have designed my own brief. I have chosen to base my project around student accommodation and have decided to design and make a prototype of a desk for a student's living space at Ulster University. After questionning local students, desks seem to be an important piece of furniture however, aesthetically their current desks are simple and plain. My aim in this project was to create a product that provided great function but improving aesthetics too. I also aimed to incorporate cultural aspects into my design to bring elements of the environment into a student's small living space. 

 

I am currently in the process of selecting my final design from third party opinions and the designs relation to the brief. This project is unfinished.
